Easy Ways To Decorate Your Wedding

There’s something incredibly exciting about planning a wedding. From choosing a wedding venue to picking a color scheme and choosing flowers for your bouquet, there are many big decisions that will need to be made.

At WholesaleSparklers.com, we understand how complex the wedding planning process can be, which is why we’ve decided to write a blog on easy ways to decorate your wedding, so you can focus on other things like the wedding band, centerpieces, and party favors. When you need wedding sparklers and party supplies, be sure to browse our website for the best products at the most affordable prices!

Unpack The Christmas Lights

If you’re looking for a fun and creative way to light up your wedding reception, consider pulling out the Christmas decor from the attic (and no, we’re not talking about that 15 foot blow-up Santa Claus you like to post in your front yard). Classic, white Christmas lights can turn any space from drab to fab, helping illuminate things like the wedding cake, buffet tables, and even the entrance to the venue. Most white Christmas lights emit a soft white glow, making it ideal for weddings with a more elegant feel.

Looking for another way to light up your special day? Consider investing in some wedding sparklers from WholesaleSparklers.com.

Think Of Creative Centerpieces

Any wedding planner will tell you that your table centerpieces are a big part of your wedding decor and theme. Many newlyweds choose to create their own table centerpieces, whether it be a candle, bouquet of fake flowers, or even a numbered bottle of wine that guests can enjoy during their entree. If you’re not sure what to use for your centerpieces, you can keep it simple by framing some of your engagement photos and putting a number on each frame.

Drape The Ceilings

If your wedding reception is being held at a venue with high ceilings, you may want to consider draping the ceilings for a sophisticated look. Most wedding planners will recommend using a white fabric, but if you’re looking for a fun and festive vibe, you can always choose a bright color of your liking.

Ditch The Seat Covers For Ribbons

As you start planning your wedding, you’ll quickly realize that renting things like chair linens and seat covers can really add up. To help you save a little money, consider getting some beautiful wide ribbon that you can tie on the back of your guests’ chairs. You can ask your friends and family members to help tie the ribbons before your big day, or you can designate the task to the maid of honor.

We hope that this list of wedding decoration tips comes in handy as you continue to plan for your special day. The Best Outdoor Wedding Tips

Planning a wedding can be an exciting time. From hiring a wedding band to picking out seasonal flowers for your bouquet, there are many things you’ll have to do to prepare for your big day. If you’ve decided to have an outdoor wedding, congratulations! Outdoor weddings are the perfect way to tie nature into your celebration, not to mention they can be incredibly romantic and beautiful. As you start planning your outdoor wedding, there are a few things you’ll want to keep in mind. Let’s take a look at some outdoor wedding tips below.

Think About Your Guests & Their Comfort

No matter where you plan on getting married, it’s important to consider the comfort of your guests. Think about what month and time of day you’d like to get married, and do a little research on the weather patterns for that time of year. If you’re getting married in Florida during the summer, you may want to consider the fact that your wedding guests may be hot sitting outside. For this reason, you may want to invest in some tents or shade mechanisms to protect your guests from the sun’s harsh rays. You could even ask your wedding ushers to pass out water bottles as your family and friends take their seats for the ceremony.

Another popular tactic to help keep your guests cool during your outdoor wedding is to print your wedding program on a fan. This way, your guests will be able to follow along with the ceremony program, while also keeping themselves cool.

Consider Different Wedding Dress Materials

Shopping for your wedding dress is arguably the most exciting part of the wedding planning process. As you start to shop for the perfect dress, be sure to keep different fabrics in mind. If you’re hosting an outdoor wedding in the middle of July, you may want to find a dress that will breathe well in the heat. If you’re planning an outdoor wedding in October, consider investing in a classy white shawl that you can drape over your shoulders to keep you comfortable.

Amplify Your Wedding Ceremony

There’s nothing more beautiful than an outdoor wedding ceremony, but sometimes, it can be hard for your guests to hear what is going on (this is especially true if it is windy). Instead of asking your wedding officiant to scream your vows, it may be wise to amplify your ceremony with the help of some microphones. Most wedding venues offer a sound system on-site, so make sure you ask the venue about this when you discuss your big day.

Have A Backup Plan

While nobody wants to have a backup plan on their wedding day, this is a must if you want to have your wedding outside. No matter what time of year your wedding date falls on, there will always be a chance that Mother Nature will not cooperate. For this reason alone, it’s critical that you discuss a backup plan with the wedding venue you choose. The good news is that most venues offer emergency backup options if it starts to rain, hail, or snow on your wedding day. This may be in the form of outdoor tents, or the venue may recommend moving your ceremony or reception to an indoor space.

Update Your Hairdresser

Before you sit down for your trial wedding hair appointment, be sure to let your hairstylist know that your wedding will be outside. Hairdressers and makeup artists understand the challenges of wind and humidity, and they’ll be able to recommend ways to keep your hair and makeup intact as you walk down the aisle.

Keep Your Guests Hydrated

Outdoor weddings, especially during the warm summer months, can leave your guests feeling dehydrated. To combat this issue, consider setting up water drinking stations throughout your outdoor space. These refreshment tables will be a lifesaver when your Aunt Karen needs a break from the summer heat.

Create An Epic Wedding Send Off

Traditionally, when newlyweds leave their reception, there is some kind of wedding send off that the wedding guests participate in. Oftentimes, this involves throwing rice at the bride and groom or blowing bubbles at them as they walk towards a limousine. If you want to create a truly memorable wedding send off, consider using wedding sparklers. Simply ask your wedding guests to grab a sparkler as they exit the wedding venue and wait for the newlywed couple to walk out. Once the newlyweds make their appearance, have everyone light a sparkler for the perfect wedding send off.

How To Plan A Beautiful Beach Wedding

Sometimes, there’s nothing more romantic than a beach wedding. Whether you’re thinking about hosting your wedding at an exotic destination or your summer home, beach weddings can be incredibly fun for both the newlyweds and their guests.

As you start to plan the perfect beach wedding, there are a few things you’ll want to keep in mind to ensure you and your guests have a delightful time. Let’s take a look at them below.

Public vs Private Beach Wedding

Depending on the destination of your wedding, you’ll want to make sure you know whether the beach you’re saying “I do” on is public or private. At the end of the day, all ocean beaches in the United States are open to the public. This means that if you host your wedding on one of these ocean fronts, there’s a good chance you’ll experience some party crashers. If you want a secluded beach all to yourself, you’ll want to start looking for a beach on private property.

Once you’ve found the beach of your dreams, it’s time to start looking into permits and ordinances. Some beaches have certain regulations when it comes to gatherings, and it’s wise to check with the local government to see what rules you must abide by. You’ll also want to remember that most beaches prohibit the consumption of alcohol, so be sure to do your research.

Accessibility To Your Wedding

Many brides dream of getting married with their toes in the sand and often forget that some family members and friends may have a hard time traveling to and on the beach. You may want to ask yourself, can my 90 year old grandmother make it to the ceremony, or will she be stuck in a wheelchair by the parking lot? As you start mapping out your wedding guest list, keep guests with accessibility issues in mind. The last thing you want is for them to feel excluded on your special day.

Your Wedding Dress Material

If you ask a wedding planner about beach weddings, one of the first things he or she will mention is wind. Most beaches can be incredibly windy (depending on the time of year and day), so you’ll want to choose the material of your wedding dress accordingly. If you plan on getting married in the summer, consider wearing a light wedding dress that offers plenty of ventilation. Find a wedding dress that is made of lighter fabric, allowing you to move with ease through the sand.

Light Up The Night With Wedding Sparklers

If you want to add a touch of sparkle to your upcoming beach wedding, consider investing in some quality wedding sparklers from WholesaleSparklers.com. We carry a large and diverse selection of wedding sparklers that will light up your first kiss, first dance, or wedding send off. Choose from 14-Inch Wedding Sparklers, 36-Inch Wedding Sparklers, and more.

The Time Of Day You Say “I Do”

Another wedding detail you’ll want to think long and hard about is the time of day you say “I do.” The afternoon heat on a beach can be brutal, and high temperatures are not ideal for everyone. If you want to ensure that your wedding guests are comfortable during the ceremony, consider planning for a morning or sunset event. If those times are unavailable, scope out beach locations that offer plenty of shade. Your guests will thank you for it!

An Experienced Wedding Photographer

When it comes to hiring a professional wedding photographer for your big day, you’ll want to find someone who has plenty of experience capturing special moments on the beach. An untrained photographer may not be familiar with the best beach lighting techniques, which can result in not-so-pretty photos. Make sure the photographer you choose has examples of outdoor wedding photography, so you can feel confident in your decision.

Hire A Sound Company

It probably comes as no surprise that beach weddings are full of noise. From seagulls chirping to waves crashing, it’s always wise to hire a sound company to ensure that your wedding guests hear what is said during the ceremony. The last thing you want is Aunt Urma straining her neck to hear your vows, so do her a favor by requesting a microphone during your beach wedding.

The Right Footwear

While you may be dying to wear those $400 stilettos as you walk down the sandy aisle, we recommend ditching heels completely (unless, of course, there is a wooden walkway you can walk on). Most wedding planners will tell you that sand and heels just don’t mix, so consider wearing stylish wedges or flat-soled sandals the day of your wedding instead.

Give Your Guests Plenty Of Notice

If you’ve ever had a wedding sprung on you at the last moment, you already know how stressful it can be. When planning your beach wedding, make sure to give your guests plenty of notice (especially if it’s a destination wedding). They will need time to book their flight and hotel, as well as any other accommodations that may be necessary. We recommend giving your guests at least two options for housing, since different people will have different budgets.

Consider Your Food Options

Most guests at an outdoor wedding will not want to scarf down a steak during dinner. Most coastal weddings call for light, outdoor foods, like fruit skewers and mini sandwiches. When it comes to your wedding food, try and choose items that won’t sweat or spoil in the sun.
As you can see, there are many things to keep in mind when planning a beach wedding. We hope that this blog helps you prepare for your special day!

Tips For Planning The Perfect Spring Wedding

If you’re in the process of planning a spring wedding, congratulations! The wedding planning process can be incredibly exciting as you choose the best food, flowers, and wedding decor to make your special day one to remember. There are many benefits to having your wedding in the spring, including:

Most Flowers Are In Bloom

A major benefit for hosting a spring wedding is the fact that most flowers are in bloom. This includes popular flowers like peonies, daffodils, and tulips. You’ll also get to enjoy a variety of nontraditional flowers and decor during this season, such as cherry blossoms and dogwood. When you stick to flowers that are already in-season, you’ll likely find more budget-friendly options for your wedding, which is never a bad thing.

Mild Temperatures = A Comfortable Outdoor Wedding
If you plan on hosting your wedding ceremony or reception outdoors, spring is the perfect time of year to do it. Since the temperatures tend to be fairly mild, you’ll have a great excuse to encourage guests to celebrate the big day outdoors.

Nature Offers Bright Outdoor Colors
If bright colors and vivid scenery are a must-have for your wedding day, consider scheduling a date in the spring to say your vows. Ask your photographer to find beautiful spaces outside where you can pose with your bridal party for unforgettable pictures.

Top Tips For Planning A Spring Wedding

Start Planning Early

Most wedding planners will tell you that the earlier you start planning your big day, the less stressed you’ll be. If you’re thinking about having your wedding in 2020, you don’t have to wait two years before you start mapping out your wedding. Having a clear plan for your wedding will make it easier as you navigate through catering companies, wedding venues, and the like.

Figure Out The Number Of Guests You Want To Invite

Before you start picking out a wedding band or catering company, it’s important to figure out the maximum number of guests you want to invite to your wedding. This is also very important to do before choosing a wedding venue.

Find The Perfect Wedding Venue

As you shop around for a wedding venue, take the time to decide what is most important to you. Are you looking for a wedding venue that has a reception area and ceremony area all in one place? Do you want a wedding venue that offers in-house catering so you don’t have to hire out? Whatever your needs may be, make sure you know what you’re looking for before you start touring venues.

You’ll want to reserve your wedding venue as soon as possible after you’ve announced your engagement to the public. Make sure you read all of the fine print on the contract, as this will give you an idea of how much you’ll need to put down for the security deposit, and how much it will cost you if you decide to cancel.

Think About Your Wedding Colors

As one of the most romantic times of the year, spring offers a plethora of wedding color schemes that you’re sure to love. The wedding colors you choose for your wedding will set the tone for your special day. While pastels tend to be a favorite among spring weddings, you can add a touch of pop to your wedding decor by mixing in some contrasting colors. For example, if your bridesmaids are wearing a pastel pink dress, consider asking the groomsmen to wear a bright purple tie.

Come Up With A Fun Wedding Exit

One of the funnest parts of your wedding night will be your wedding exit, as this gives your guests a chance to say farewell as you head off to your hotel or honeymoon destination. There are many ways to make your wedding exit one to remember, and at WholesaleSparklers.com, we’ve got the party supplies you need to make an epic exit. Some of the best wedding exits involve wedding sparklers, and the most popular options include:

  • 36-Inch Wedding Sparklers – Looking for a little longer burn time on your wedding sparklers? 36-inch wedding sparklers may be the best route to go. These fun sparklers can burn up to three minutes, making them ideal for photo opportunities.

Hire A Professional Wedding Photography

While cell phones tend to take high-quality photos these days, hiring a professional wedding photographer will ensure that each special moment is captured. Before you start searching for a wedding photographer in your area, do some research on the style of photography you’re looking for (this will help you explain your vision to the photographer you hire). As you start looking at photography companies, be sure to check out portfolios to get an idea of their work. If you already have a budget in mind for your wedding photography, make sure you let each wedding photographer know. They’ll be able to tell you whether or not they can work within your budget.

Cheap Wedding Sparklers?

Weddings are expensive and most of us look for ways to cut corners but should you buy cheap wedding sparklers? The answer is a simple no….and yes!

No, you do not want to buy cheap wedding sparklers. Maybe you went overboard last July 4th.  And maybe you have a ton of extra colorful, bamboo sparklers left over.  And maybe you decide that this is a perfect way to save money and not buy wedding sparklers.  I would then say, no!!!! Don’t do it.  The cheaper July 4th type of sparklers are not good for weddings for many reasons.  First, they create way too much smoke.  The chemicals that are used to create the pretty colors that kids and kids at heart love, make a lot of smoke. Smoke will ruin your pictures and make for an uncomfortable atmosphere for your wedding guests.  The bamboo wood stick will burn and ash off leaving soot on your beautiful wedding dress.

Ok, fine, you say. I saw small metal and gold sparklers online anyway.  Yes, that is true. Many sites, including ours, sell #8 and #10 metal sparklers.  These sparklers are very inexpensive and might seem like a good choice. However, the small size of these sparklers mean that they have a very short burn time. Your wedding guests will not have enough time to set up for the sparkler sendoff .  These sparklers are considered party sparklers.  You can use them on your cake or cupcakes for an elegant dessert entrance.  Wedding favors would be another good use for these smaller sparklers.  Pair them with a few sparkler tags for a fun keepsake to remember your wedding.

Yes, you do want to buy cheap wedding sparklers.  Cheap is probably not a good work. Let’s say inexpensive. Throw the word wedding in front of anything and suddenly that thing becomes three times more expensive.  Some sparkler sites charge extra for their wedding sparklers because they believe brides and grooms will pay anything to have their dream wedding. Just because website A is charging more than website B does not mean their sparklers are any better.  In fact, it is safe to say, they probably sell the exact same wedding sparklers.

Don’t fall for that trap.  Do your homework. Shop around. Be sure to look for sparklers with a metal, silver stick.  Be sure they have a gold spark.  You want either a #14, #20 or #36 wedding sparkler.  These longer sparklers have a long burn time which will allow your guests and wedding photographer plenty of time to set up for your wedding sparkler sendoff. Just be sure not to pay too much for your dream wedding!
